The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports that on February 13th at approximately 11:00 am Investigators arrested Scott Kepler, 34, of Fayette for burglary in the 3rd degree, petit larceny and criminal mischief in the 4th.It is alleged that on February 6th at 3:00 am Kepler unlawfully entered a Fayette business by breaking a window and crawling inside. While inside Kepler ransacked the cash register, boxes and envelopes in order to find money. After ransacking the cash register and stealing the money, Kepler then broke into two arcade style machines and stole the money from them.Kepler was arrested and arraigned before Town Justice Sapio of Fayette and was sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility without bail since Kepler has two prior felony convictions. Kepler is scheduled to reappear on February 18th at 5:00 pm for further court action.The investigation into Kepler’s actions is ongoing and more charges could be coming.
